Author Fees

Journal of Tropical AgriFood (JTAF) applies transparent publication charges. Submission is free, while selected services and publication charges apply only where relevant.

1. Article Submission Fee

No submission fee is charged. Authors may submit manuscripts to JTAF without payment.

Biaya pengiriman naskah: Rp 0,- (Gratis).

2. Optional English Translation Service

JTAF publishes accepted articles in English. Authors submitting manuscripts in Indonesian may use JTAF's optional professional English translation service at a flat rate of IDR 250,000 per article.

Authors may also use an independent professional translation service, provided the final manuscript meets JTAF's academic English standards.

3. Optional Fast-Track Review

The optional Fast-Track Review service is charged at IDR 300,000. It accelerates the initial review and editorial processing but does not guarantee acceptance and does not alter editorial or peer-review standards.

Fast-Track Review is governed separately by the JTAF Fast-Track Review Policy & Procedure.

4. Article Publication Fee (APC)

For manuscripts accepted for publication, JTAF applies an Article Publication Fee of IDR 500,000 to support publication operations, layout preparation, DOI registration, and long-term archiving.

5. Fee Waiver

Authors who are unable to pay an applicable fee may contact the Editorial Office to request a waiver. Financial limitations should not prevent the publication of scientifically worthy work.

Important: Payment never determines editorial acceptance. All manuscripts remain subject to editorial evaluation, peer review, research-integrity requirements, and JTAF publication policies.
