JTAF Officially Migrates to OJS 3.5.0.5

Official Platform Update OJS Platform Migration Completed

Effective 17 September 2026, the Journal of Tropical AgriFood (JTAF) officially completed its migration from OJS 2.4.8.0 to OJS 3.5.0.5.

A New Chapter for JTAF Modernising Our Journal Management Platform

This migration is part of JTAF's continuing commitment to improving platform security, system stability, editorial workflow, and the overall experience of authors, reviewers, editors, and readers.

Published articles, journal issues, user accounts, editorial records, and active submissions have been transferred to the new platform. Authors do not need to resubmit their manuscripts unless specifically contacted by the JTAF Editorial Office.

Because this upgrade involves a major generational change in OJS, some users may temporarily encounter differences or technical irregularities, including:

  • A new interface, navigation structure, and editorial workflow layout.
  • Expired login sessions or the need to reset an existing account password.
  • Changes to bookmarked pages, legacy URLs, or document download links.
  • Submission, review, or editorial records that may require re-verification.
  • Notification emails arriving late, entering the spam folder, or displaying differently.
  • Unexpected display issues affecting metadata, citations, article pages, or uploaded files.

These issues do not necessarily indicate that journal data have been lost. The Editorial Office will review each report and coordinate any necessary correction.

Technical Issue Reporting Please Inform the JTAF Editorial Office

If you experience a technical issue related to the migration, please send us the following information so that the problem can be traced efficiently:

  • The URL of the affected page.
  • A screenshot showing the issue.
  • The date and approximate time when the issue occurred.
  • Your role in the system and your registered email address.
  • A brief description of the steps taken before the issue appeared.
  • The manuscript ID or article title, when the issue concerns a submission.

Security reminder: never include your password, verification code, or other confidential credentials in a technical report.

Bahasa Indonesia Migrasi Resmi Platform JTAF

Sejak 17 September 2026, Journal of Tropical AgriFood (JTAF) resmi bermigrasi dari OJS 2.4.8.0 ke OJS 3.5.0.5. Migrasi ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keamanan, stabilitas sistem, alur editorial, dan kenyamanan pengguna.

Artikel terbit, edisi jurnal, akun pengguna, rekam editorial, dan submission aktif telah dipindahkan ke platform baru. Penulis tidak perlu mengirimkan ulang naskah kecuali diminta secara khusus oleh Tim Editorial JTAF.

Apabila Bapak/Ibu menemukan kendala teknis setelah migrasi, mohon informasikan kepada Tim Editorial JTAF dengan menyertakan tautan halaman, tangkapan layar, waktu kejadian, email akun, serta ID naskah apabila berkaitan dengan submission. Mohon tidak mengirimkan password atau kode verifikasi.
