Evaluasi Kualitas Tanah dan Arahan Pengelolaan pada Lahan Kering di Kecamatan Sawan Kabupaten Buleleng

Penggunaan lahan secara intensif tanpa adanya upaya pelestarian menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tanah dan penurunan hasil produksi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi kualitas tanah, menetapkan faktor pembatas, serta memberikan arahan pengelolaan lahan yang tepat sesuai kondisi tanah di Kecamatan Sawan. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Juni sampai Desember 2024 pada lahan kering Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng. Metode yang digunakan metode survei dalam pengambilan sampel tanah berdasarkan peta Satuan Lahan Homogen (SLH). Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dan dikompositkan, kemudian diuji parameternya sesuai pedoman penetapan kualitas tanah berdasarkan 10 Minimum Data Set (MDS) yang dimodifikasi menurut Lal (1994). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas tanah di Kecamatan Sawan tergolong sangat baik dengan luas 2.569,88 ha (62%) mencakup wilayah Desa Giri Mas, Lemukih, Sekumpul, Galungan, Sudaji dan Bebetin. Kualitas tanah tergolong baik dengan luas 1.576,01 ha (38%) mencakup wilayah Desa Sekumpul, Menyali, Bungkulan, Galungan, Suwug, Bebetin, dan Sudaji. Faktor-faktor pembatas di daerah penelitian meliputi: tekstur, C-organik, KTK, Nutrisi (N-total dan P-tersedia) dan C-biomassa. Arahan pengelolaan lahan yang direkomendasikan adalah pemberian pupuk organik, urea, dan TSP/SP-36.
