Optimasi Pembuatan Marine Diesel Oil (MDO) untuk Meningkatkan Profit Kilang Pertamina RU V Balikpapan

PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) RU V Balikpapan merupakan salah satu kilang yang mengolah minyak mentahmenjadi bahan bakar yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai bahan bakar transportasi laut dan
pabrik. Salah satu hasil produk di Kilang Balikpapan RU V ini adalah MDO (Marine Diesel Oil). Seiring
dengan perkembangan teknologi alat industri dan transprotasi laut bermesin Diesel, faktor akan
ketersediaan MDO dirasa masih kurang. MDO tidak cukup hanya tersedia tanpa memperhatikan bagaimana
kondisi dan kualitas dari MDO itu sendiri. Maka dari itu, untuk mengantisipasi kekurangan Bahan Bakar
MDO pada masa mendatang diharapkan suatu unit pengolahan harus dengan perhitungan yang cermat.
Untuk itu peranan PT. PERTAMINA (Persero) RU V Balikpapan sangat dibutuhkan agar tercapainya hal
tersebut yaitu dengan memperhatikan komposisi blending yang digunakan. Dalam proses blending
pembuatan MDO sangat penting untuk mengetahui komposisi tiap komponen, sehingga pada penentuan
komposisi pencampuran harus dilakukan secara cermat. Sebelum melakukan pencampuran skala besar,
maka dilakukanlah penentuan titik optimal Blending yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi Blending
yang tepat dari masing-masing komponen MDO yang akan dipergunakan. Dapat diketahui bahwa MDO
dapat di blending dengan 2 komponen ADO dan Short Residu atau 3 komponen ADO, Short Residu dan Flux
Oil. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan maka didapatkan hasil optimal dengan banyak komponen ADO 83 % dan
Short Residu 17 % dengan keuntungan 29352.5 USD.

The next point is, the agreement can be terminated if the author or JURNAL CHEMURGY violates the agreement and cannot make repairs to the customer within a maximum of 2 months after being given information asking for the violation to be corrected. If there is no violation of the agreement, the license will automatically terminate and affect JURNAL CHEMURGY.
Regarding royalties, so far, if it is following applicable legal regulations, the author will waive his right to collect royalties on articles that have been licensed by JURNAL CHEMURGY.
In publishing the article, the editorial process is successful. JURNAL CHEMURGY will continue it. JURNAL CHEMURGY has the right to adjust articles related to punctuation, spelling, capital letters, references used, and usage adapted to JURNAL CHEMURGY. The author acknowledges that the article can be published and accessed free of charge by the public.
