Jurnal Peternakan Lingkungan Tropis (JPLTrop) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University, East Kalimantan. The publication is carried out periodically in March and September. Articles published in the JPLTrop journal include Animal Livestock Production, Nutrition and Feed, Technology of Animal Products, Socio-Economics of Animal Livestock, Reproduction and Breeding, Animal Livestock Environment, Animal Livestock Health, Animal Food Safety and Security.

Jurnal Peternakan Lingkungan Tropis was first published in Vol. 1, No. 1, 2018, and can only be accessed online.

The review process will be carried out for all submitted articles. The review process is done by double-blind review method, where peer reviewers are not allowed to know the identity and institution of the author.
