ANALISIS STRUKTUR KAWASAN BUKIT BERAMBAI DENGAN METODE FAULT FRACTURE DENSITY, DAERAH BERAMBAI, SEMPAJA UTARA, KEC. SAMARINDA UTARA, KALIMANTAN TIMUR

Kawasan Bukit Berambai di Sempaja Utara, Kecamatan Samarinda Utara, Kalimantan Timur, merupakan wilayah dengan potensi geologi yang signifikan, terutama dalam analisis struktur bawah permukaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola struktur geologi dengan menggunakan metode Fault Fracture Density (FFD). Metode ini menganalisis kerapatan sesar dan rekahan berdasarkan data geologi permukaan dan interpretasi citra satelit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan Bukit Berambai memiliki zona dengan kerapatan sesar yang tinggi, yang berhubungan erat dengan potensi jalur migrasi fluida dan mineralisasi. Pola orientasi sesar utama cenderung mengikuti tren arah Barat Laut-Tenggara (NW-SE) dan Timur Laut-Barat Daya (NE-SW). Pemahaman terhadap struktur geologi ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam eksplorasi sumber daya alam dan mitigasi potensi geohazard di wilayah tersebut.
