Mental health is an important aspect for individual well-being, including adolescents. Adolescence with high mental health can improve psychological well-being, quality of life, and can help individuals cope with the problems and stressors in their lives. Adolescence, or often referred to as puberty, is the stage of development in which someone will achieve self-identity, so they spend more time with peers. Peer influence plays an important role in adolescent lives, and it can have both positive and negative impacts. However, problems can come from the family, academic problems, peers, etc., that makes them vulnerable to mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, and others. Otherwise, peer support can play an important role in helping adolescence coping with mental health issues. Psychoeducation as a preventive program given to 58 junior high school students in grades 8 and 9. The results of this psychoeducation program are an increase in students' understanding of peer social support.
