Author Guidelines
Research Article
Research articles are original research in biomedical sciences, clinical, public health and community medicine as well as in the health sciences. The format of a research article consists of Halaman Judul, Abstrak (Indonesia and English), Pendahuluan, Metode Penelitian, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Simpulan, Ucapan Terima Kasih, dan Daftar Pustaka.
Case Report
Case reports are articles on cases in the field of medical and health sciences that are considered to be important and needs to be disseminated. The case report format consists of Halaman Judul, Abstrak (Indonesia and English), Pendahuluan, Kasus, Pembahasan, Simpulan, Ucapan Terima Kasih and Daftar Pustaka.
General Instructions :
JKM does not accept articles that have been published or are being submitted to other journals, which should be proven by signing a statement that the manuscript is not being submitted or processed in another journal. The author should ensure that all other authors have agreed to publish in JKM. If an article that has been published in JKM is known to be published in another journal, JKM will announce its retraction in the next issue of the journal. All articles will be discussed by experts from appropriate fields (peer review) and also by the editorial board. Articles aspects of the research that can be accounted for.
Article Writing
Manuscript to be submitted should be a typewritten manuscript using calibri sizes 10 font on A4 paper 1.5 line spacing throughout with 4 cm margin at the top and with 3 cm at the left, the right and the bottom. Your manuscript should not comprise more than 10 pages. The total number of words in Pendahuluan, Metode Penelitian, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Simpulan, and Daftar Pustaka should not be more than 3,000 words for original article and should not be more than 1000 words for case report. All pages should be numbered sequentially starting from the title page to the the last page. Articles will be published in Indonesia.
HALAMAN JUDUL
Halaman Judul contains the little of the article, the author’s name, the author’s affiliate institution, name of correspondence address, phone number and e-mail address. The title of the article should brief and clear and not be more 14 words or 200 characters.
Abstrak and Kata Kunci
Abstract and Keywords
Abstract is written in Indonesia and English, with alibri, 10 pt, single spacing. Using a single paragraph, 250 words maximum. Abstract consists of study background, research question, study aim, method, result and conclusion. Kata Kunci/ Keywords should be written maximum 5 key words in an alphabetical.
PENDAHULUAN
- Interpreted justification and background on the importance of the research carried out.
- Explained about the novelty of research conducted with previous research (if any).
- Pendahuluan has a statement of the research question or research objective and hypothesis that will be considered by the editor.
METODE PENELITIAN
- Examined research designs, criteria, and methods for sampling, instruments, procedures, data processing and analysis.
- Information of Ethical Clearance (if needed, for example in research with animal models and humans).
- Examined materials and tools prepared in the preparation stage, as well as research methods with certain stages.
HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN
- Directed at answering hypothesis or research questions in the introduction.
- Interpreted the result of study
- Implicated and clarified the impact of study result on the development of science
- Interpreted limitations of the research that will be considered by the editor.
SIMPULAN
- Written in narrative form and is an answer to the hypothesis/research question.
- Forbidden quotations and information/explanations about research If necessary, suggestions and recommendations can be added for further research.
UCAPAN TERIMA KASIH
- Dedicated to those who helped carry out the research.
- Written the full name with title or the name of the institution and its contribution in the study.
DAFTAR PUSTAKA
Written in Calibri letter, 10 pt, space 1, according to the Vancouver style library writing rules. Between libraries that are then given a distance of 2 times the space stay. Examples as follow:
