Novel Perempuan adalah buku lanjutan dari Re; dan buku ketiga dari Maman Suherman. Novel tersebut mengangkat cerita tentang Melur, anak dari Rere atau Re: yang telah berhasil menyandang gelar Dr didepan namanya, banyak kilas balik kemasa lalu yang disajikan oleh Maman Suherman dalam novel tersebut serta tentang keadilan bagi perempuan tentang feminisme.

            Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara sistematis antar fenomena yang diselidiki melalui tahapan identifikasi novel, feminisme dan menyimpulkan hasil penelitian. Analisis awal menggunakan teori fakta cerita Robert Stanton dan teori feminisme dari berbagai teori.

            Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel karya Maman Suherman ini mengusung perlawanan perempuan terhadap tindakan yang terjadi terhadap perempuan. Namun setelah Melur menyelesaikan S3 di Tokyo maka dari itu Melur kembali ke indonesia untuk menyelidiki kematian dari ibu kandungnya.
