Review Process
Submission & Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Ilmu Budaya: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, Seni, dan Budaya must follow the author's focus, scope, and guidelines, discussing scientific benefits or novelty. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are recommended to perform similarity checks (checked using Turnitin by editors). Manuscripts may be returned if they fail submission requirements, incorrect formatting, or unreliable downloads.
Submissions must represent original and independent work. We will reject manuscripts without review if insufficient, exceeding word limits, incorrect in format, poorly presented, or unclear. The Editor in Chief or Associate Editor handles manuscripts passing initial assessment to oversee review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation.
Passing screening, manuscripts are submitted to at least two independent experts for a double-blind review (1—4 weeks duration). Editors decide acceptance based on reviewer comments. Publication order is managed by the Editor in Chief based on receipt order, author geographical distribution, and thematic issues. Confidentiality is strictly maintained.
