Despite having distinct cultural origins, corporate social responsibility (CSR) management in Indonesia and Thailand holds a common perspective on social responsibility and regional cultural values. Consistently using different strategies, each country recognizes the beneficial effects of CSR. This article provides an analysis that emphasizes comparing CSR management within the context of cultural preservation aspects across both countries. Adopting a comparative study, this paper also explores CSR practice approaches in Thailand and Indonesia. Studies indicated that CSR activities such as funding of the cultural programs, promote social solidarity and complementary understanding that are in line with national development objectives. It has been apparent that the CSR within culture preservation is not only being utilized as a platform for corporate responsibility, but rather a catalyst for sustainable cultural development and social progress in both countries.
