Bentuk dan Makna Kontekstual Onomatope pada Webtoon ‘Who’s Mr. President?’ Karya S.M.S

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk, makna dan fungsi onomatope pada Webtoon 'Who's mr. President?' Karya S.M.S. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diambil dari Webtoon dan sumber data berasal dari keseluruhan 68 episode Webtoon 'Who's Mr. President?' Karya S.M.S. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode padan dan agih untuk melakukan analisis bentuk, makna, dan fungsi dari onomatope. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat bentuk onomatope dalam Webtoon 'Who's Mr. President?'. Di antaranya ditemukan 4 onomatope suara hewan, 5 onomatope suara alam, 93 onomatope suara manusia, dan 64 onomatope aneka ragam imitasi suara. Kemudian, terdapat 4 makna kontekstual yang terkandung di dalam Webtoon 'Who's Mr. President?', yaitu makna kontekstual waktu, suasana hati, situasi, dan tempat. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan 3 dari 4 fungsi yaitu fungsi menambah informasi pada sebuah tulisan, fungsi memberikan kesan yang kuat bagi pembaca dan fungsi memaksimalkan realitas dalam suatu peristiwa. Kemudian, terdapat anomali onomatope suara manusia yang direpresentasikan oleh karakter hewan dalam Webtoon 'Who's Mr. President?' Karya S.M.S.References
