Analisis Makna Referensial Nama-Nama Pondok Pesantren di Kabupaten Jember

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kebahasaan dan makna referensial nama-nama pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Jember, khususnya di Kecamatan Silo. Pendekatan analisis semantik digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memaparkan fenomena yang menjadi acuan nama-nama pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Jember. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk kebahasaan pada nama pondok pesnatren di Kabupaten Jember, yaitu kata, frasa, dan klausa. Bentuk frasa mendominasi pada nama-nama pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Jember dengan tiga belas data. Adapun, enam data berupa kata dan dua data lainnya berupa klausa. Selain itu, makna referensial nama pondok pesantren di Kecamatan Silo memiliki acuan yang berbeda-beda. Berdarkan analisis data, nama-nama pondok pesantren mengacu pada benda, alat, sifat, tempat, status, dan proses. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Silo, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sedikit gambaran tentang nama-nama pondok pesantren yang terdapat di Kabupaten Jember baik dari bentuk kebahasaan maupun makna referensialnya.
