Plakat: Jurnal Pelayanan Kepada Masyarakat (Journal of Community Service) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University. It is published biannually in June and December. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate the ideas and results of community service and engagement activities conducted by academics, particularly from Mulawarman University, that have direct applications for societal advancement.

Plakat: Jurnal Pelayanan Kepada Masyarakat contains a variety of reports on activities carried out by both the academic community of Mulawarman University and external contributors. The journal's primary focus is on efforts to address and resolve various problems within society through the application of appropriate science and technology.

The articles in this journal are intended to serve as a reference and inspiration for designing effective service programs. Thus, this journal acts as a bridge between the academic world and the real-world needs of the community, ultimately contributing to the improvement of public welfare and independence.
