Peranan Kepemimpinan Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan Front Office Department Pada Hotel Grand Victoria Samarinda

Front Office Department pada hotel dapat dikatakan sebagai ujung tombak hotel. Departemen tersebut bertugas penting untuk memenuhi target penjualan kamar hotel maupun even serta pusat informasi untuk tamu. Dalam mencapai tujuannya, peran kepemimpinan manajer sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Kinerja karyawan tidak akan efektif jika tidak ada keselarasan antara pemimpin dan bawahannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan kepemimpinan dalam peningkatan kinerja karyawan Hotel Grand Victoria Samarinda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif yang dimulai dari berbagai data yang berhasil dikumpulkan peneliti di lapangan. Data tersebut baik dari studi pustaka dan penelitian lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajer dinilai berhasil meningkatkan kinerja karyawan front office dilihat dari kemampuan handle pelayanan, permintaan, dan complaindari tamu sangat baik. Kuantitas kinerja karyawan di juga mengalami kenaikan hingga 70% dari jumlah kamar dalam satu bulan penuh.
