PEMANFAATAN IKAN PATIN MENJADI BAHAN BAKU BIODIESEL

Biodiesel merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi ketergantungan bahan bakar fosil dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Pemanfaatan limbah ikan patin menjadi salah satu pilihan bahan baku dalam pembuatan biodiesel. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu memanfaatkan limbah ikan patin (jeroan) sebagai bahan baku pembuatan biodiesel. Proses pembuatan diawali dengan pencucian dan pembersihan limbah ikan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengambilan minyak dengan cara di oven hingga ampas limbah ikan dan minyak ikan terpisah. Minyak ikan di uji kadar FFA awal untuk penentuan tahapan selanjutnya, yaitu esterifikasi atau langsung ke tahap transesterifikasi. Proses transesterifikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pelarut metanol dan katalis KOH. Hasil proses transesterifikasi didekantasi untuk pemisahan biodiesel dengan gliserol. Kemudian didistilasi agar biodiesel terpisah dari sisa-sisa pengotor dan dilakukan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan biodiesel berbahan baku ikan patin berhasil dilakukan dan senyawa metil ester menjadi komponen penyusun utama sampel biodesel yaitu senyawa 9-Octadecenoic acid (Z)-, methyl ester.

The next point is, the agreement can be terminated if the author or JURNAL CHEMURGY violates the agreement and cannot make repairs to the customer within a maximum of 2 months after being given information asking for the violation to be corrected. If there is no violation of the agreement, the license will automatically terminate and affect JURNAL CHEMURGY.
Regarding royalties, so far, if it is following applicable legal regulations, the author will waive his right to collect royalties on articles that have been licensed by JURNAL CHEMURGY.
In publishing the article, the editorial process is successful. JURNAL CHEMURGY will continue it. JURNAL CHEMURGY has the right to adjust articles related to punctuation, spelling, capital letters, references used, and usage adapted to JURNAL CHEMURGY. The author acknowledges that the article can be published and accessed free of charge by the public.
