Analisis Kuantitatif Fasa Dan Parameter Kristal Abu Cangkang Keong Mas (Pomacea canaliculata L) Hasil Kalsinasi Suhu Tinggi Menggunakan Metode Rietveld

Analisis kuantitatif melalui penghalusan data (refinement) metode Rietveld adalah solusi untuk mempelari tentang sistem kristal suatu material katalis. Metode ini menjadi pelengkap dari sistem analisis kualitatif dari suatu difraktogram sinar-X. Seluruh sampel abu cangkang keong mas (Paguroidea) pada penelitian ini di kalsinasi selama 4 jam dengan variasi suhu kalsinasi untuk kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan XRD spektroskopi. Setiap difraktogram sinar-X sampel dilakukan refinement metode Rietveld. Hasil refinement menunjukan bahwa sampel abu cangkang keong mas yang dikalsinasi selama 4 jam memberikan perbedaan komposisi fasa dan parameter unit sel kristal karena pengaruh suhu kalsinasi 600°C, 700°C dan 900°C. Sampel 600°C, 700°C adalah fasa tunggal padatan CaCO3 kalsit dengan bentuk kristal trigonal grup ruang R- 3C, volume kristal berturut-turut adalah 367.381 Å3 dan 369.240 Å3, sedangkan sampel 900°C merupakan
padatan fasa tunggal CaO dengan bentuk kristal kubik grup ruang Fm3m dan volume kristal adalah 111.960 Å3. Nilai Reabilitas (R) hasil refinement, RP, Rwp, Rexp dan GoF = χ2 memberikan hasil yang baik dan dapat diterima.
