Abstract

Pulau Kalimantan merupakan bagian dari kerak Sunda (Sundaland). Morfologi Pulau Kalimantan didominasi oleh perbukitan hingga perbukitan terjal pada bagian tengahnya, sedangkan dataran terdapat pada daerah sepanjang pantai. Morfologi perbukitan hingga perbukitan terjal tersusun oleh batuan berumur Pra Tersier dan Tersier, sedangkan morfologi dataran tersusun oleh batuan berumur Kuarter. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Geologi daerah sekitar, morfotektonik dan morfometri di daerah penelitian. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data vektor jaringan sungai dan peta topografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari segi morfometri bahwa DAS Pulau Jawan yang memiliki nilai prioritas pengelolaan lebih tinggi, diikuti DAS Landap kemudian DAS Loa Lepu dan DAS Tuwayan, dan dari segi morfotektonik diperoleh bahwa daerah penelitian tersebut merupakan tektonik tidak aktif.
