About the Journal
Mulawarman Dental Journal (MOLAR) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of dentistry and oral health sciences, affiliated with the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Mulawarman, Indonesia. Since April 2025, MOLAR has been officially affiliated with the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Mulawarman. Previously, the journal was affiliated with the Dentistry Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Mulawarman.
MOLAR is committed to disseminating high-quality scientific knowledge, research findings, and evidence-based practices in dentistry and related oral health sciences. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, dental practitioners, academics, students, and other health professionals to communicate and exchange scientific knowledge at both national and international levels.
The journal publishes twice a year, in March and September. MOLAR accepts scholarly manuscripts in the form of Original Research Articles, Case Reports/Case Studies, and Literature Reviews. Submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure their scientific quality, originality, relevance, and contribution to the development of dental and oral health sciences.
