Official Platform Update JAKP OJS Platform Migration Completed

Effective 17 September 2026, the Jurnal Agribisnis dan Komunikasi Pertanian (JAKP) (Journal of Agribusiness and Agricultural Communication) officially completed its migration from OJS 2.4.8.0 to OJS 3.5.0.5.

A New Platform for JAKP Modernising Our Journal Management System

The migration to OJS 3.5 represents an important improvement to JAKP's journal management platform, with particular emphasis on platform security, system stability, editorial workflow, publishing management, and user experience.

Published articles, journal issues, user accounts, editorial records, and active submissions have been migrated to the new platform. Authors do not need to resubmit their manuscripts unless specifically requested by the JAKP Editorial Office.

Because this migration involves a major generational change in OJS, some users may temporarily encounter differences or technical irregularities while using the new platform.

Changes to the interface, navigation structure, dashboard, and editorial workflow.
Expired login sessions or the need to reset an existing account password.
Changes to bookmarked pages, legacy URLs, or document download links.
User roles or editorial assignments that may require re-verification after migration.
Reviewer or editorial invitations that may not appear immediately in the recipient's account.
Notification emails arriving late, entering the spam folder, or in some cases not being delivered as expected.
Submission, review, or editorial records that may require verification by the editorial team.
Unexpected display issues affecting article metadata, citations, journal pages, or uploaded files.

These conditions do not necessarily indicate that journal data have been lost. The Editorial Office will review each report and coordinate any necessary technical correction.

For Authors Please Check Your Submission After Migration

Authors with active submissions are encouraged to log in to their existing accounts and verify that the following information is displayed correctly:

Manuscript title and submission ID.
Author and co-author information.
Uploaded manuscript and supplementary files.
Current editorial or review stage.
Editorial discussions and revision files, where applicable.

Please do not create a duplicate submission if an existing manuscript appears incomplete or temporarily unavailable. Contact the JAKP Editorial Office first so that the original record can be verified.

For Reviewers Reviewer Invitations and Notifications

Reviewers are encouraged to verify their registered account and email address after the migration.

If you have been informed that a review assignment has been sent but the invitation does not appear in your account or email inbox, please contact the Editorial Office.

Before reporting the issue, please also check your Spam, Junk, Promotions, or Other email folders.

Technical Issue Reporting Please Inform the JAKP Editorial Office

If you experience a technical problem that may be related to the OJS migration, please provide enough information for the issue to be traced efficiently.

The URL of the affected page.
A screenshot showing the issue.
The date and approximate time when the issue occurred.
Your role in the system (Author, Reviewer, Editor, Journal Manager, etc.).
Your registered email address.
A brief description of the steps taken before the issue appeared.
The manuscript ID or article title when the problem concerns a submission.

Security reminder: never include your password, verification code, recovery code, or other confidential account credentials in a technical report.

Account & Access Reminder Please Use Your Existing JAKP Account

Existing users should first attempt to access the new platform using their previously registered JAKP account.

If you are unable to log in, use the password recovery facility before creating a new account. Creating duplicate accounts may complicate submission history, reviewer assignments, and editorial records.

Bahasa Indonesia Migrasi Resmi Platform JAKP

Sejak 17 September 2026, Jurnal Agribisnis dan Komunikasi Pertanian (JAKP) resmi bermigrasi dari OJS 2.4.8.0 ke OJS 3.5.0.5.

Migrasi ini merupakan bagian dari peningkatan keamanan platform, stabilitas sistem, pengelolaan editorial, manajemen publikasi, serta kenyamanan pengguna.

Artikel yang telah diterbitkan, edisi jurnal, akun pengguna, rekam editorial, dan submission aktif telah dimigrasikan ke platform baru. Penulis tidak perlu mengirimkan ulang naskah kecuali diminta secara khusus oleh Tim Editorial JAKP.

Informasi Pascamigrasi Kendala Teknis yang Mungkin Ditemukan

Karena perpindahan dari OJS 2.4.8 ke OJS 3.5 merupakan perubahan sistem yang cukup besar, sebagian pengguna mungkin menemukan perbedaan atau kendala teknis sementara, antara lain:

Perubahan tampilan, navigasi, dashboard, dan alur editorial.
Sesi login lama tidak lagi berlaku atau pengguna perlu melakukan reset password.
Perubahan pada tautan lama, bookmark, atau link dokumen.
Role pengguna atau penugasan editorial yang perlu diverifikasi kembali.
Undangan reviewer atau penugasan editorial yang belum muncul pada akun.
Email notifikasi yang terlambat, masuk ke folder spam, atau belum terkirim sebagaimana mestinya.
Data submission, review, atau proses editorial tertentu yang perlu diverifikasi kembali.
Perbedaan tampilan metadata, sitasi, halaman artikel, atau file yang telah diunggah.

Kondisi tersebut tidak selalu berarti data jurnal hilang. Tim Editorial akan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap laporan yang diterima dan berkoordinasi untuk perbaikan teknis apabila diperlukan.
