DINAMIKA PERUBAHAN GARIS PANTAI MENGGUNAKAN CITRA TEMPORAL DI PANTAI BIRU KERSIK KECAMATAN MARANG KAYU KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA

Abstract


Coastal areas as a transitional region connecting the land ecosystems and marine ecosystems, are vulnerable to damage and changes caused by some factors from land and from the sea. This study aims to look at the dynamics of coastal lines changes that occur on Biru Kersik Beach. With the time of conducting research conducted in february – april 2018.The number of change in coastal lineon Biru Kersik Beach include abrasion and accretion  obtained from Landsat5 (TM), Landsat 7 (ETM) and Landsat 8 (OLI) satellite image data on Biru Kersik Beach from 1989 – 2017. In order to analyzes coastal line changes used overlay method which is assisted by ArcGIS software.The extent of abrasion on Biru Kersik Beach in Marang Kayu Sub-District Kutai Kartanegara Regency from 1989 – 2017  are 1.170.000 m² with average abrasion rate of 234.000m²/ year and accretion area of 89.000 m² with an average accretion rate of 18.000m²/year. Result of analysis of satellite imagery data the coastal line changes that occurred on Biru kersik Beach from 1989 – 2017 dominated by abrasion.
