Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh populasi cacing tanah dan jenis media terhadap kualitas pupuk organik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa interaksi antara populasi cacing tanah dan jenis media berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan jumlah telur cacing tanah dan jumlah populasi cacing tanah. Dengan pemberian cacing tanah pada bahan organik juga meningkatkan kandungan unsur hara pada pupuk organik sebelum diberi pelakuan pada kotoran sapi dan kotoran ayam kandungan unsur kimia pada bahan kompos masih kurang atau termasuk rendah dan setelah mengalami masa dekomposisi selama 4 minggu pupuk mengalami perubahan dan peningkatan.
