Pemetaan Kualitas Tanah Menurut Tipe Penggunaan Lahan di Desa Tepian Baru Kecamatan Bengalon Kabupaten Kutai Timur

Kualitas tanah adalah kemampuan tanah untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman, mengatur air, dan menyokong lingkungan, memainkan peran penting dalam produktivitas pertanian dan keseimbangan ekosistem. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kualitas tanah menurut tipe penggunaan lahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Tepian Baru Kecamatan Bengalon serta analisis tanah dilakukan di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mulawarman dari bulan Maret sampai Juni 2021. Survei dan pengambilan sampel lapangan dilakukan setelah mendapatkan peta pemanfaatan lahan yang dibuat berdasarkan hasil perekaman citra satelit tahun 2020 dan 2021. Pengambilan sampel dilakuakan secara acak yang telah ditentukan berdasarkan pertimbangan kelas lereng, sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Tanah Faperta Unmul. Analisis data menggunakan metode komparatif dengan tabel penilaian faktor pembatas dan bobot relatif Minimum Data Set. Hasil interpretasi citra satelit Desa Tepian Baru memiliki 8 tipe penggunaan lahan, namun hannya 7 pemanfaatan lahan yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Pemanfaatan lahan tersebut adalah pemukiman, daerah aliran sungai, hutan sekunder, perkebunan karet, perkebunan kelapa sawit, kebun campuran, lahan terbuka, dan semak belukar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan, berdasarkan pembobotan pada semua parameter minimum data set nilai kumulatif menunjukkan kualitas tanah buruk ada pada pemanfaatan lahan hutan sekunder, lahan terbuka, dan semak belukar. Untuk kualitas tanah sedang berada pada pemanfaatan lahan pemukiman, perkebunan karet, dan kebun campuran. Sedangkan untuk kualitas tanah baik berada pada pemanfaatan lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit.Downloads
