APLIKASI METODE LINEAMENT DENSITY ANALYSIS UNTUK PEMETAAN POTENSI ZONA MINERALISASI: STUDI KASUS DAERAH SEKOTONG, LOMBOK SELATAN

Eksplorasi mineral merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk memastikan adanya sumber daya mineral pada suatu daerah potensial. Dalam proses eksplorasi, dibutuhkan biaya yang sangat mahal dan waktu yang cukup lama. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan suatu kegiatan pra-eksplorasi agar terlaksananya kegiatan eksplorasi yang lebih efisien. Metode Lineament Density Analysis (LDA) merupakan suatu metode penginderaan jauh dengan memanfaatkan data DEM untuk mengidentifikasi pola kelurusan berupa sesar, rekahan, dan struktur geologi sebagai parameter adanya potensi sumber daya mineral pada suatu daerah terkait dengan konsep mineralisasi lithostructural. Metode yang digunakan adalah penarikan kelurusan secara ekstraksi dan manual dari data DEM Lombok Selatan, kemudian dikombinasikan pada hillshade dengan azimuth 0 º, 45 º, 90 º, dan 135º pada altitude 45 m dan dilanjutkan dengan validasi daerah anomali berupa observasi lapangan. Lombok Selatan dipilih sebagai daerah penelitian karena secara litologi diketahui memiliki potensi zona mineralisasi, ditandai dengan adanya urat kuarsa dan tuf dengan lensa batugamping yang mengandung mineral sulfida. Berdasarkan hasil kelurusan ekstraksi dan manual, diperoleh rentang anomali densitas kelurusan 6.969 km/km2 - 8.711 km/ km2 dengan orientasi NNW - SSE.
