SISTEM EVALUASI KINERJA ASISTEN LABORATORIUM MENGGUNAKAN METODE K-MEANS

Abstract

Universitas Mulawarman Samarinda merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri yang didalamnya terdapat 14 fakultas dan 12 program studi, didalam sebuah proses pembelajaran fakultas yang terdapat di Universitas Mulawarman tidak hanya menerapkan metode secara teori namun juga praktikum khususnya pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer dan Teknologi Informasi. Laboratorium merupakan tempat yang dilengkapi dengan peralatan dan percobaan belajar mengajar. Namun pada saat ini FKTI belum memiliki informasi mengenai kinerja pengajar asisten laboratorium. maka dari itu diperlukan evaluasi mengajar asisten laboratorium di FKTI sehingga pihak laboratorium dapat mengetahui kinerja asisten laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode KMeans. Metode ini dianggap tepat karena untuk mengelompokkan data berdasarkan titik pusat klaster terdekat dengan data. Dari hasil perhitungan 32 sampel data terdapat 12 asisten berada pada cluster “Sangat Bagus”, 14 asisten berada pada cluster “Bagus” dan 6 asisten berada pada cluster “Kurang Bagus”. Sistem dapat menampilkan hasil evaluasi kinerja asisten kepada pihak laboratorium. Sehingga pihak laboratorium dapat mengetahui kualitas kinerja asisten terhadap proses belajar memgajar. maka hasil tersebut dapat menjadi tolak ukur untuk menjadi lebih baik lagi dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada para Asisten.
