Sistem pendukung keputusan dibutuhkan untuk menentukan urutan pegawai yang sesuai dari beberapa
pegawai seleksi yang memenuhi kriteria kompetensi jabatan (SPK). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
membangun sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan kenaikan jabatan. AHP adalah influence (pengaruh) untuk
menyelesaikan permasalahan saling ketergantungan (dependence) antar alternatif atau kriteria, sehingga AHP
dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperoleh bobot kriteria dengan pengaruh interdependence. Kenaikan jabatan
merupakan suatu faktor yang sangat penting bagi perencanaan karir pegawai juga untuk meremajakan suatu
posisi jabatan agar diduduki oleh seseorang yang mempunyai kriteria-kriteria yang cocok untuk menempati suatu
jabatan yang diusulkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi yang digunakan dalam seleksi pegawai untuk
promosi jabatan struktural berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria dari penilaian kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan.
