Mengambil keputusan adalah salah satu dari kegiatan manusia yang paling mendasar dalam kehidupan
sehari-hari.Proses pengambilan keputusan dalam dunia bisnis menjadi salah satu kunci yang mendasar dan
penting seperti dalam inventory control, pengembangan produk baru, investasi, sampai pada pemilihan
supplier.Salah satu upaya untuk mendapatkan supplier bahan baku terbaik adalah dengan melakukan pemilihan
supplier. Metode yang dapat digunakan dalam memecahkan permasalahan tersebut salah satunya dengan
menggunakan metode tsukamoto. Sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan supplier bahan baku dengan metode
tsukamoto menghasilkan suatu sistem yang dapat menentukan nilai rekomendasi supplier. Dalam sistem
pendukung keputusan ini terdapat 4 variabel yang digunakan, yaitu: kebersihan, harga, pengalaman dan
sertifikat. Variabel harga dibagi menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu murah, sedang, mahal. Variabel kebersiham dibagi
menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu kurang, sedang, baik. Variabel pengalaman dibagi menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu
kurang, sedang, baik. Variabel sertifikat dibagi menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu kurang, cukup, baik. Hasil
perhitungan sistem pendukung keputusan tidak berbeda dengan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan secara manual.
Pada hasil perhitungan dari data uji coba sistem nilai rekomendasi dari supplier adalah 33.555, 35.76923 dan
38.256.
