Sistem Pengendali Suhu Ruangan Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) Menggunakan Air Conditioner (AC) Dan NodeMCU V3 ESP8266

Mengendalikan suhu suatu ruangan dapat dilakukakan dengan berbagai cara, seperti penggunaan kipas angin, Air Conditioner (AC), pemanfaatan ventilasi ruangan, dan lain-lain. Salah satu alat yang mampu mengatur suhu sebuah ruangan secara efektif adalah Air Conditioner (AC). Penggunaan AC sangat dibutuhkan pada ruangan-ruangan yang membutuhkan suhu rendah secara stabil, salah satu contohnya adalah ruangan server. Kebutuhan akan pengendalian suhu ruangan menggunakan AC dari jarak jauh sangat diperlukan bagi administrator server untuk menunjang kinerja dari mesin server. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem purwarupa pengendali suhu ruangan yang dapat dikendalikan dari jarak jauh menggunakan AC dan smartphone. Sistem ini menggunakan NodeMCU V3 ESP8266-12E sebagai mikrokontroler yang mengendalikan sensor pengukur suhu, pemancar infra merah, dan modul internet. Sensor pengukur suhu akan mendeteksi kondisi suhu ruangan dan mengirimkan data secara real-time ke NodeMCU V3 yang dapat dilihat dan dikendalikan oleh pengguna menggunakan Android.
