PENCARIAN LOKASI BRAND DAN OUTLET PADA PUSAT PERBELANJAAN DAN PASAR KOTA SAMARINDA BERBASIS WEBGIS MENGGUNAKAN PERSAMAAN KARTESIUS

Abstract

Pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar dibangun untuk menunjang kebutuhan belanja masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari. Banyaknya pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar yang tersebar di beberapa kecamatan di kota Samarinda akan mempersulit masyarakat umum atau pendatang dalam mengetahui lokasi-lokasi serta informasi terkait brand, outlet, dan fasilitas yang tersedia pada masing-masing pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi geografis berbasis website guna mempermudah masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi serta mencari lokasi pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, kuesioner, dan mengumpulkan informasi pendukung melalui internet. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah PHP, Google Maps API sebagai framework, serta MySQL sebagai database. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebuah sistem informasi geografis pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar kota Samarinda berbasis website, yang menampilkan informasi pusat perbelanjaan dan pasar, informasi angkutan kota, serta pencarian lokasi jarak terdekat yang dilengkapi dengan petunjuk arah.
