Perbandingan Metode Simple Additive Weigthing dan Weighted Product Untuk Pemilihan Atlet Terbaik Pada Ukm Mulawarman University Chess Club

Universitas Mulawarman memiliki Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) yaitu MUCC (Mulawarman University Chess Club) yang mempunyai salah satu agenda utama yaitu mengikuti kejuaraan-kejuaraan catur baik itu tingkat kota hingga tingkat nasional. Pemilihan yang biasanya menggunakan hasil seleksi saja dirasa kurang efektif sehingga perlu adanya kriteria lain yakni kedisiplinan, rating, prestasi 1 tahun terakhir dan riwayat keikutsertaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk membandingkan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Weighted Product (WP) berdasarkan beberapa kriteria tersebut untuk mendapatkan sebuah metode yang tepat dalam pemilihan atlet pada UKM MUCC. Perbandingan data asli dan data hasil perhitunganmetode menggunakan perhitungan tingkat akurasi. Hasil akurasi dibandingkan menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil uji t berpasangan pada metode SAW sebesar 62,4975% dan metode WP sebesar 79,1650%. Berdasarkan hasil uji t berpasangan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai yang signifikan sehingga metode Weighted Product (WP) adalah metode yang lebih baik untuk pemilihan atlet terbaik pada UKM MUCC.
