Analisis QoS Jaringan Internet Menggunakan Metode RMA (Reliability, Maintainability, Availability) di Balai Pelatihan Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Abstract

Jaringan internet merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung dalam proses belajar dan mengajar. Balai Pelatihan Kesehatan (BAPELKES) Provinsi Kalimantan Timur merupakan
instansi pemerintah dibawah Dinas Kesehatan yang melakukan pelatihan kesehatan bagi aparatur dan tenaga kerja kesehatan. Dalam proses belajar mengajar di BAPELKES dibutuhkan jaringan internet yang baik untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar dimana para peserta pelatihan disarankan untuk mengunduh modul-modul yang telah disediakan secara online. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian terhadap Quality of Service jaringan internet di ruangan-ruangan yang ada di BAPELKES untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan yang ada dan telah diperbarui. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pada pengukuran dengan skema jaringan yang terbaru lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sebelum dilakukan penambahan access point, penambahan bandwith dan pemasangan Mikrotik. Hasil pengujian Quality of Services, rata-rata nilai throughput stabil, nilai delay rata-rata <150 ms “Kategori Sangat Bagus”, nilai packet loss rata-rata <5% “Kategori Bagus” menurut standarisasi TIPHON serta hasil pengujian RMA pada minggu kedua dan ketiga availability 100% yaitu sangat bagus.
