MODEL ANALISIS PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN PEMINATAN DI SMA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SAW

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan ketika guru menentukan kelompok peminatan yang sesuai untuk siswanya. Menentukan suatu kelompok peminatan untuk siswa dengan jumlah yang banyak akan menimbulkan kesulitan bagi guru tersebut. Untuk itu, perlu adanya suatu mekanisme yang dapat membantu guru untuk menentukan kelompok peminatan yang terbaik untuk siswanya berdasarkan nilai dari setiap faktor yang berpengaruh. Sistem yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut adalah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK). SPK menggunakan suatu metode tertentu untuk memilih keputusan yang terbaik. Salah satu metode yang umum digunakan adalah Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Beberapa hal yang dibutuhkan metode SAW adalah alternatif, bobot, dan kriteria. Alternatif pada permasalahan ini adalah Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (MIPA), Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dan Bahasa dan Budaya. Bobot didapatkan dari pengambil keputusan. Kriteria yang didapatkan adalah nilai rata-rata rapor Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), nilai ujian nasional SMP, minat siswa, hasil psikotes, nilai ujian sekolah SMP, nilai tes peminatan, rekomendasi guru bimbingan konseling SMP dan rekomendasi orang tua. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut artikel ini akan memberi gambaran bagaimanan implementasi metode SAW pada permasalahan peminatan siswa SMA.
