Hubungan Konsumsi Kopi dan Garam Terhadap Kejadian Hipertensi pada Lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bengkuring Kota Samarinda

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit meningkatnya tekanan darah yang menjadi problematika dunia dan berdampak pada peningkatan angka kesakitan serta kematian. Hipertensi memiliki faktor pemicu yang dapat diubah dan tidak dapat diubah, faktor pemicu yang tidak dapat diubah adalah usia, jenis kelamin, riwayat keturunan, sedangkan pada faktor pemicu yang dapat diubah diantaranya adalah konsumsi kopi dan garam.World Health Organization secara global mengatakan bahwa dengan presentase sebesar 22% dari total penduduk dunia menderita hipertensi (WHO, 2021). Riset Kesehatan Dasar Riskesdas (Riskesdas) 2018 menunjukkan bahwa usia 55-75 tahun keatas menjadi peringkat I pertama dengan prevalensi hipertensi dengan catatan diagnosis oleh dokter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsumsi kopi dan garam terhadap kejadian hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bengkuring. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan case control, penentuan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan SQ-FFQ secara langsung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 52 sampel yang terdiri dari 26 kontrol dan 26 kasus. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan uji statistik ditemukan hasil dengan nilai P Value konsumsi garam dengan hipertensi (P Value = 0,017 dan OR = 6.353 ) dan P Value konsumsi kopi dengan hipertensi (P Value = 0,082). Kesimpulannya bahwa terdapat hubungan konsumsi garam dengan kejadian hipertensi dan tidak terdapat hubungan konsumsi kopi dengan kejadian hipertensi. Hasil penelitian ini disarankan bagi penderita hipertensi maupun bukan penderita hipertensi untuk selalu melakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah secara teratur dan membatasi konsumsi kopi serta mengurangi konsumsi garam sehingga dapat mengurangi potensi terjadinya komplikasi dan timbulnya penyakit lainnya.
