Hubungan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan Kejadian Stunting pada Balita di Provinsi X

Stunting adalah gangguan tumbuh kembang anak yang ditandai dengan tubuh pendek. Prevalensi stunting tahun 2018 di Indonesia mencapai 30,8%. Terdapat berbagai faktor risiko yang diduga menjadi penyebab utama stunting, salah satunya pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian ASI Eksklusif terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita di Provinsi X dan memberikan gambaran prevalensi balita yang mengalami stunting serta proporsi bayi yang mendapat ASI Eksklusif pada setiap kabupaten di Provinsi X. Desain studi pada penelitian ini adalah studi ekologi dengan unit analisis agregat. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder, yaitu data Gizi KIA Indonesia (kumulatif bulan September 2022). Terdapat enam kabupaten/kota yang digunakan sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan lima dari enam kabupaten di Provinsi X memiliki proporsi balita yang mengalami stunting cukup tinggi serta proporsi bayi yang mendapat ASI Eksklusif rendah. Kemudian, tidak ada hubungan antara pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting, yaitu (p-value=0,402). Perlu adanya penelitian lebih lanjut yang meneliti faktor risiko stunting selain pemberian ASI Eksklusif.

Article Processing Charge
In order to improve the quality of articles, starting in June 2025 each article to be published in JKMM is subjected to a fee of IDR 550,000 or USD 34.
