Abstract

Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah adalah bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk menerapkan kebijakan yang dilakukan untuk menerapkan kebijakan perluasan serta pemerataan akses pendidikan di Indonesia yang dikhususkan untuk menunjang program wajib belajar dua belas tahun. Diketahui bahwa lembaga pendidikan swasta MTs Miftahul Khair, Alastengah, Besuk, Probolinggo, masih menggunakan sistem konvensional dalam pengelolaan data keuangan Bantuan Operasional Sekolah. Sistem berjalan menggunakan Aplikasi Microsoft Excel dan dicatat manual ke dalam buku untuk proses pencatatannya, kemudian melakukan perekapan ulang setiap kali membuat Laporan keuangan Bantuan Operasional Sekolah. Sistem konvensional tersebut mempunyai kekurangan diantaranya memungkinkan kesalahan input data, membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam pengelolaan keuangan, maupun dalam pembuatan laporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah yang lebih cepat , efektif, dan efisien. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu aplikasi sistem informasi pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah proses pengelolaan data Dana BOS yaitu pada proses penginputan data, pencarian data, dan pembuatan laporan.
