Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Rekam Medis Pasien Poliklinik UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di bidang kesehatan sangat pesat. Hal ini berpengaruh pada layanan kesehatan khususnya di poliklinik UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. Selama ini ketika pasien berobat ke poliklinik, pencatatan riwayat penyakit pasien masih dilakukan secara manual. Pencatatan secara manual membuat data rekam medis pasien tidak terorganisir dengan baik dan kurang sistematis. Hal ini membuat tenaga medis kesulitan dalam melakukan pecatatan dan pencarian data rekam medis pasien apabila pasien berobat kembali.Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut diperlukan sistem informasi rekam medis pasien untuk mempermudah pihak poliklinik dalam mencatat dan mecari data rekam medis. Data rekam medis pasien digunakan untuk mengetahui riwayat penyakit pasien serta obat apa saja yang pernah diberikan kepada pasien. Dalam pembuatan sistem informasi rekam medis ini, menggunakan software development life cycle (SDLC) waterfall dan berbasis web. Sebelum membuat aplikasi ini, peneliti melakukan wawancara dan observasi terhadap terhadap dokter di poliklinik UPN Veteran Jatim. Implementasi program menggunakan DBMS MySQL dan framework CodeIgniter. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi poliklinik rekam medis pasien berbasis web. Dengan sistem rekam medis ini, diharapkan dapat mempermudah tenaga medis dalam mencatat dan mencari data rekam medis guna mengambil keputusan lebih lanjut dalam menangani pasien.
