Komputasi Numerik pada Kasus Penentuan Penyakit Tanaman Hias

Metode numerik dapat membantu memecahkan persoalan Matematika kompleks dan rumit yang sulit untuk diselesaikan secara analitik. Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi komputer yang berkembang pesat, komputasi numerik dapat membantu menyelesaikan persoalan seperti solusi persamaan linear dan nonlinear, kalkulus turunan dan integral, solusi persamaan diferensial atau persoalan deret dan galat. Pada kasus penentuan penyakit tanaman hias, khususnya Anggrek Hitam (Coelogyne pandurata), penerapan komputasi numerik dapat menjadi studi sebagai bahan ajar pada kelas mata kuliah Metode Numerik di Program Studi Informatika, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mulawarman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bahan ajar Metode Numerik untuk diagnosa penyakit tanaman hias Anggrek Hitam menggunakan Metode Naive Bayes. Data pada riset ini berupa bobot gejala dan penyakit yang diperoleh dari para pakar tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komputasi numerik dapat mempermudah pada pemodelan permasalahan yang kompleks. Juga dihasilkan bahan ajar Metode Numerik pada kasus diagnosa penyakit tanaman Anggrek Hitam menggunakan Metode Naive Bayes.
