Abstract

Film merupakan hasil karya yang sangat unik, menarik dan modern karena merupakan salah satu media komunikasi dalam bentuk gambar hidup. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, sampai saat ini film berbentuk file lebih popular, sehingga banyak digemari kolektor film yang menjadikan popularitas film semakin meningkat. Beberapa contoh kategori genrefilm adalah action, animation, comedy, musical, science-fiction, dan horror. Terdapat unsur lain yang memuat informasi mengenai film itu sendiri, misalnya judul film dan tahun rilis, jalan cerita atau sinopsis, pemain, produser dan poster film. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pada aplikasi desktop yang dapat mengimplementasikan teknik web scrappingatau ekstraksi webyaitu mengumpulkan dan menyusun informasi sebuah film dari sumber data secara online dengan format JSON yang diharapkan dapat memudahkan kolektor dalam memanajemen informasi pada koleksi film. Dari penelitian tersebut maka dihasilkan aplikasi manajemen sistem informasi untuk kolektor film yang menggunakan teknik web scrapping.
