Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi terutama internet, merupakan faktor pendorong perkembangan sistem informasi berbasis web. Pada saat ini orang lebih suka mencari informasi tentang suatu produk melalui internet sebelum membeli produk tersebut. Hal ini memberikan potensi bagi Primata Home Store Samarinda untuk melakukan penjualan produk melalui media internet. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk membangun sistem informasi Primata Home Store Samarinda yang dapat mempermudah pihak penjual dalam hal manajemen produk dan pihak pembeli dalam hal menerima informasi tentang produk Primata Home Store Samarinda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada sistem informasi ini meliputi lima tahap yaitu tahap pengumpulan data, tahap analisis data, tahap perancangan, tahap pengujian dan implementasi. Teknik pemodelan digambarkan dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang memiliki beberapa fitur seperti manajemen produk dan manajemen admin user yang dapat membantu pihak penjual dan pembeli dalam melakukan komunikasi melalui media internet. Kata kunci : Sistem Informasi, Web, Internet.
