PENERAPAN METODE CERTAINTY FACTOR DALAM MENDETEKSI DINI PENYAKIT TROPIS PADA BALITA

Abstract

Sistem pakar merupakan cabang dari kecerdasan buatan Arificial Intelligence (AI) yang merupakan pengetahuan khusus untuk memecahkan masalah yang hanya bias dilakukan oleh tingkat ahli atau pakar tertentu. Perkembangan sistem pakar dapat digunakan untuk dunia medis, misalka dalam hal untuk memberikan informasi awal bagi pasien tentang penyakit yang diderita.
Salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Certainty Factor dimana metode ini merupakan cara untuk membuktikan apakah suatu fakta itu pasti ataukah tidak pasti. Metode ini cocok digunakan untuk sistem pakar yang mendiagnosis sesuatu yang belum pasti.
Pada penelitian ini, akan melakukan penerapan metode certainty factor dengan forward chaining untuk kepastian dari penyakit tropis pada balita, mengacu pada beberapa gejala dari sepuluh (10) penyakit, dimana setiap penyakit berawalan dengan gejala demam. Sehingga hasil dari akhir penelitian ini dapat dihasilkan deteksi awal penyakit.
