Abstract


For many new countries, the government under the military regime is understandable regarded some difficulties of consolidating the political forces and variety problems in the new states. As time goes by the civilian government is a necessity in the context of democratization. But it is not the case in Pakistan. In the history of the country, there are several times power changing between the civilian and military leadership. The inability of civilian leaders to control national security, ethnic conflict and the prolonged economic instability, corruption, Kashmir cause military intervention in politics. This article explores the dynamic of civilian and military relationship in Pakistan political system.
