POLITIK DAN AGENDA PERDAMAIAN PBB DALAM “BRAHIMI REPORT”

Abstract

Department of Peace Keeping Operation handle the crisis of it’s implementation in building peace. Especially after UN mission in Rwanda and Srebrenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina people think that UN Peace Operation is mostly failures in some of their operation. In this case, Lakhdar Brahimi the head of this panel gave this special issue to the United Nations elements including General Assembly, Security Council and all of UN members. Reformation of the UN strategies in holding the mission is completely explained by the Brahimi Report. Responsibility to protect agains civilians, and all of the implementation need more credible, intelligence, and also carefully to looking for the fact in the fields of conflict. Political needs was also bring the serious discussions in the implementation of the Brahimi Report.
