STRATEGI COOL JAPAN INDONESIA DI SEKTOR HIBURAN

Abstract


This research were made with purpose to explain how the CJI program implementation strategy  is executed in order to improve the creative industry in Indonesia, focusing on the entertainment sector. Cool Japan Indonesia is a collaborative strategy between Indonesia and Japan. In Japan,  this strategy Cool Japan is a policy to empower the image of Japan around the world, and used as public diplomation instrument with the strength of creative industry. Indonesia become one of many countries that chosen by Japan to be a partner in this program. Training programs are given by Japan to each actor of creative industry in Indonesia, beside financial support. Even when there are various challenges such as different cultures on both countries, and the high rate of piracy, the cooperation programs could be considered as a success and brings many positive results.
