Revitalisasi kesenian Mamanda Kutai oleh Sanggar Seni Budaya Kutai Bensamar dalam menguatkan branding Kampong Adat Tuha

Penelitian ini membahas upaya revitalisasi kesenian Mamanda Kutai oleh Sanggar Seni Budaya Kutai Bensamar sebagai bentuk pelestarian kesenian lokal di Dusun Bensamar, Kutai Kartanegara. Mamanda Kutai merupakan seni pertunjukan teater klasik dengan iringan musik khas bernama Geduk yang dimainkan saat pelakon keluar dan masuk panggung. Kesenian ini mengalami stagnasi pada tahun 2020 hingga 2022 akibat minimnya minat generasi muda dan kurangnya regenerasi pelaku seni. Revitalisasi dimulai kembali pada tahun 2023 melalui pementasan pada Festival Kampong Adat Tuha Bensamar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnomusikologi, memanfaatkan teori unsur musik Bruce Benward untuk menganalisis struktur musik Geduk dan teori Revitalization Movements Anthony F. C. Wallace untuk mengkaji aspek non-musikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan musik Geduk memiliki struktur khas yang memperkuat suasana pertunjukan, sementara proses revitalisasi enam tahap Wallace berhasil mengembalikan eksistensi Mamanda Kutai dan memperkuat branding Kampong Adat Tuha.References
