Pengaruh Behavioral Social Skill Training Dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Sosial Pada Anak Disabilitas Intelektual Ringan

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Behavioral Social Skill Training dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial pada anak disabilitas intelektual ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode single subject experimental design dengan perlakuan berupa penerapan intervensi Behavioral Social Skill Training pada satu orang anak perempuan bernisial NEW yang berusia 9 tahun mengalami disabilitas intelektual ringan dengan gelaja permasalahan keterampilan sosial. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah WISC, VSMS, dan Social Skill Improvment System (SSIS) Teacher Form. Prosedur yang dilakukan dalam memberikan intervensi Behavioral Social Skill Training yaitu dengan menggunakan metode, instruksi, modeling, rehearsal, feedback, dan enhancing generalized after BST. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah pemberian intervensi selama 10 sesi, terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan sosial subjek yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya skor hasil pengukuran dari Social Skill Improvment System (SSIS). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Behavioral Social Skill Training dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak disabilitas intelektual ringan.
