TRANSFORMASI NOVEL SABTU BERSAMA BAPAK KARYA ADITYA MULYA MENJADI FILM SABTU BERSAMA BAPAK KARYA MONTY TIWA: KAJIAN EKRANISASI

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penciutan, penambahan, perubahan bervariasi pada alur, tokoh, dan latar dalam bentuk novel ke bentuk film Sabtu Bersama Bapak karya Monty Tiwa dan Adhitya Mulya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian struktural. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Sabtu Bersama Bapak karya Adhitya Mulya dan film Sabtu Bersama Bapak karya sutradara Monty Tiwa. Fokus penelitian berupa proses transformasi alur, tokoh, dan latar dalam kajian ekranisasi. Data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, teknik mencatat, teknik transkripsi dan klasifikasi. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dengan melakukan pembacaan, melakukan pembedahan novel dan film, mengamati film, membandingkan alur, tokoh dan latar pada novel dan film, dan mengamati gejala-gejala atau indikasi transformasi yang terdapat pada novel dan film. Hasil penelitian ini berupa pendeskripsian bentuk penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi dari novel dan film pada alur, tokoh dan latar.

ABSTRACT
This research purpose to describe the form of decrease, addition, varied changes in plot, figure, and background in the form of a novel to the film form together with Monty Tiwa and Adhitya Mulya. The kind of research used is structural research. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive. The source of this research data is the novel of Sabtu Bersama Bapak by Adhitya Mulya and the film Saturday Bersama Bapak by director Monty Tiwa. The focus of research is the process of transforming the plot, figure, and the background in the study of recrimination. Data were obtained by observation technique, recording technique, transcription technique and classification. Data analysis techniques were obtained by reading, performing novel and film operations, observing films, comparing plots, characters and backgrounds on novels and films, and observing the phenomenons or indications of transformations found in novels and films. The results of this research are descriptions of decrease, addition, and varied changes from novels and films to plot, figure and background.
